Avereth
Welcome to Avereth — an old-school online RPG in development.
Begin your journey on Mistcove, earn your first equipment, and train to level 8 before choosing your vocation and sailing to the mainland. Once you leave the island, there is no turning back.
Beyond the safety of town lie winding caves, orc strongholds and dragon territory. Explore carefully: the next room may hold something you are not ready to fight.
Discover the latest update
- Explore Orc Frontier and venture beneath it into Underfort.
- Enter the Warchief’s throne room and face his guards.
- Travel east into Emberfall and descend into Cinderdeep.
- Encounter 32 creature types with updated designs, directional movement and combat animations.
- Watch defeated creatures fall, decay and eventually disappear.
Choose between Knight, Hunter, Mage and Priest. Improve your combat skills through use, discover equipment through hunting, and learn spells suited to your vocation.
Share the world with other players, trade equipment, store your valuables and prepare for your next expedition. Death has consequences: you can lose experience, skill progress and possessions.
About this playtest
Avereth runs in your browser on desktop and mobile. The current server supports up to five players at once. Account registration requires an invitation code.
Characters and progress are saved on the server, but this is an early development build. Bugs, balance changes and future progress resets are possible.

I’d love to hear what you think. How does combat feel? Are the controls comfortable on your phone? Which areas make you want to explore further?
When reporting a problem, please include your device, the area you were in and what happened. Screenshots are especially helpful.

Wow brings back memories of tibia for surrrre! It looks great so far, I love the art style, the combat animations are an upgrade already from tibia, a couple of things I would work on.
The movement is a little bit too slow, I know youre going for that tibia feel, but it still feels a bit slower than that.
Mouse move in the options should be on by default for most players I think nowadays.
My character started off super weak, I know thats probably intentional, but at the very beginning consider making it easier to kill the little stuff like snakes.
Thank you so much for the feedback I'm gonna look at the movement!
